My first thought for your lock was "Why bother with counter rotation?"
Index it with detents every 90 degrees. 90 degrees to unlock. 90 more to lock (Upside down from starting position). 90 more to unlock again. last 90 to lock in the starting position.
A very irritating presentation style. Some loud phrase, followed a couple of words swallowed. It makes the presenter sound really smug and self-satisified. He wouldn't talk to his friends in the pub like this , so why subject a poor (paying) audience to this? A more conversational style will make the presentation much more enjoyable.
