So the key is only for removing the battery not for making it run?
I work at a locksmith and would add to regularly lubricate the lock cylinder with a penetrating oil wich is temperature proof. Depending on how much the bike is used I would lubricate the lock cylinder every 3 to 6 months. The temperature proof is important if the bike is used on very cold days. Otherwise the lock cylinder could glue or even freeze and it could get worse. Many of our customers have problems with their locks and think it's the key. But most times it's just that the lock cylinders were never lubricated ๐ฌ I love your tern bikes and am looking forward to purchasing my own in a few weeks when the car is sold โค๏ธ

I keep my bike keys in a keychain along with all my other keys and a key token generator. Does this mean that I will have to detach it every time or have all my keys (and personal access token generator to my bank account etc.) dangling from the lock while I ride?
